I have never used pure linen towels before, and after buying one for my hair, I went back and basically bought enough bath sheets, towels, and washcloths to replace my old stuff. They not only dry my body and hair quickly, but they themselves dry out quickly after use. I throw them in a mesh bag to put in the laundry (and to remind my elderly mother not to put them in the dryer). And they take up way less space in the linen cabinet! I don’t know how they will hold up over time since I have only had them a few months, but I suspect with proper care these will be around a long time.
They do make quite a bit of lint for the first several washings. I did wash and then run through the dryer on low for a few minutes about half a dozen times when I first got them. They also wrinkle a lot, and if that annoys you, iron while they are just barely wet and the wrinkles fall out very easily.
Now I’m trying to find out which of my family/friends likes a towel that is a bit on the rough side so I can order for Christmas!
