After all the complicated flax growing processes, people wanted new products to be durable – just as we do today although for different reasons. We increasingly value quality, responsible consumption, and value-creating products – linen undoubtedly meets all of these criteria. Agricultural work and the village have been tied together in a harmonious way which is now depicted by linen fabrics in order to create a cozy and harmonious atmosphere at home.

We would like to have this harmony nowadays. Our textiles are carefully chosen and consist only of natural materials which are fully biodegradable and recyclable. We are developing products that do not contain any dangerous chemicals. Some of our textiles are natural, organic (not bleached, not colored, not washed or softened). These fabrics can be used by allergic people. All fabrics are compliant with the Oeko-Tex 100 standard, and some are also certified. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 quality label is the best-known and most common quality certificate for independently tested textiles found to be free of harmful substances.

Things which we create are sustainable in the long term because of design and quality. We are thinking about responsible consumption: it is better to have one quality thing that will help you to create coziness or be a little help at home, rather than a few quick-wear or synthetic fibers.

So as a customer, you will always be able to feel confident about your products from Thing Stories.

In addition to the anti-allergic properties already above, linen has many more advantages

Extremely firm and resistant

Linen can be boldly titled as one of the firmest and hardest-to-wear fabrics. Durability is guaranteed!

It remains clean longer

Linen fabric does not easily accumulate dirt so the material looks new much longer.

Easy to care

Linen fabrics dry quickly and their care is very similar to any other fabrics - it is important not to use too high temperatures and follow the instructions.

Nature and human-friendly

As we have seen, this fabric is completely natural so while using flax, we contribute to the preservation and conservation of nature. We assure you those skin problems will also be avoided.

Multipurpose

Linen clothes are worn both in winter and summer, and home accessories easily fit into any fostered style. The variety of colors is also much wider than you might think!

Quick absorbent, quick dry

It does not accumulate liquids and dries quickly. These properties are especially useful when using bath or kitchen towels.

Low production resources

The flax plant does not require much energy or water resources to produce and the entire plant is used to make linen, leaving no waste footprint. Linen clothing is naturally biodegradable and recyclable.
