I got my hubby 2 of these as a Valentine's Day/Anniversary present. A friend recommended linen towels as an "up grade". She was right! Best towel he has ever tried! Super easy to launder - easy to wash and super quick to dry. Looks great hanging up in the bathroom. Great quality, great performance, great item.

I received these black dish towels for Christmas and love them. The black is a great look for either a modern or rustic kitchen, and really would work in any room in the house. You may want to wash them a few times for maximum softness and absorbency. I just wash them and hang them from the oven door handle and they dry very quickly on their own. Since I also love linen for bath towels, I purchased the 30 x 60 towel for traveling. Although I'm very happy with my purchase, I would love to see the black towel offered in a slightly different size, of about 38 x 56 inches. Linen can also be used at home, of course. I like linen towels in general just as much as regular terrycloth cotton towels, and they help you dry off better, have to be washed less, and dry much quicker than traditional cotton towels. So in addition to all the other advantages of linen, I guess you could say they're environmentally friendly. When using pure linen as a travel towel, not only do you get a quick-drying towel but you don't get the funky smell of microfiber. Plus it isn't repulsive to touch (microfiber always grabs my skin like Velcro and to me, touching it is like nails on a chalkboard). It doesn't take much room to pack, and really, it could be used as a scarf or as a blanket on a plane, not to mention a picnic cloth (another advantage over microfiber: linen doesn't grab onto every little piece of dried grass, twig, etc.; just shake it out and go). I do highly recommend these towels; not only is the black very attractive and the linen a nice quality, but the price is quite reasonable for 100 percent pure linen. I should mention that I have not had any issues at all with shedding from either the bath towel or the hand (dish) towels from this company.

I have never used pure linen towels before, and after buying one for my hair, I went back and basically bought enough bath sheets, towels, and washcloths to replace my old stuff. They not only dry my body and hair quickly, but they themselves dry out quickly after use. I throw them in a mesh bag to put in the laundry (and to remind my elderly mother not to put them in the dryer). And they take up way less space in the linen cabinet! I don't know how they will hold up over time since I have only had them a few months, but I suspect with proper care these will be around a long time. They do make quite a bit of lint for the first several washings. I did wash and then run through the dryer on low for a few minutes about half a dozen times when I first got them. They also wrinkle a lot, and if that annoys you, iron while they are just barely wet and the wrinkles fall out very easily. Now I'm trying to find out which of my family/friends likes a towel that is a bit on the rough side so I can order for Christmas!

I already had this towel in the regular bath-towel size that we use as a pool and beach towel. I purchased this larger one to be my designated pool towel because it covers most of the chaise lounge chairs sitting poolside; I sit and lay on it. Both sizes are very light weight and take up very little space in a bag. Like the regular-sized one, this towel is soft and comfortable to sit and lay on, and it washes nicely. I just throw it in with my other linen sheets and towels (always on the delicate cycle, cold water, a detergent for delicates, and dried on the low-heat delicate cycle). Like all of my linen towels, it also takes up almost no extra space in my linen closet. I love it.

I went for the largest and it is extremely versatile. Great as a blanket in summer when it's too hot for a duvet. Great for camping, I fold it in half and use it as a blanket/towel. Especially great as despite it's size it packs/folds down very well. I took a fair few washes to soften it up but even with my eczema (severe) it's still my fave towel. It was pricey but worth it.

Who Knew A Towel Could Change My Life? I bought this towel because I wanted to try a linen towel before I began making my own. Well, have I gotten a surprise. The towel is thin, similar to a lightweight linen dress or pants. This towel absorbs water like no cotton towel I have owned. The bonus is that it dries fast. It is a nice size and I wash it every week and it gets softer with each washing. I was surprised how much I love this towel. It has convinced me to make my own (sorry Amazon). It is worth the expense because it is a wonderful towel. I would take it when I travel because it weighs so little and folds very flat. I have a small confession, I don't iron mine when it comes out of the laundry. I just take it out the basket and hang it up in the bath.
